Do fish supplied by fish farms have antibiotics given to them?
We can only guarantee that at Kimagro fish farm, we do not give any medication or antibiotics to our fish at any stage of their development prior to harvesting. provenance of our fish: eggs originate at a local hatchery and are developed into fry (baby fish); naturally and without any hormones, medicine or antibiotics.
Is it safe to eat fish from a fish farm?
Yes, and for Kimagro in particular, the clean Mediterranean Sea surrounding Cyprus, coupled with strong currents, creates ideal farming conditions for the production of an exceptional and consistent quality of fish both in terms of its appearance, taste and overall freshness.
